Where is everyone?

The final whistle was over an hour ago but there has been no comment about the game on here yet. After a better second half performance I thought there may have been some activity on here by now!

Thoughts of today.

Positives from the game - we won, scored two and grabbed 3 points, Macca getting up to speed and good defending from Peters.

Thought we looked laboured in attack (we looked more balanced and threatening )when Watson came off and Side moved into the centre and almost pedestrian in defence - though to be fair we are being stretched by injuries and lack of defensive signings.

How long before we can look forward to seeing a full strength team? We are really missing Pinnock and Skinner (Jacko drifts out of games when Skinns is absent).

Can we sign Peters for the rest of the season? He was great again (though would like to see him playing on the right wing we need a right back first though). We desperately need a centre back as Robin has really lost his pace.

One positive for Deano being suspended for the next three is at least we'll have some experience in the dugout to 'coach' us from the sidelines.

I can't believe its Sunday morning and theres no comments about yesterdays match on here. I couldn't get there yesterday but there seems to be real apathy amongst the supporters on this forum and locally at the momemnt. Yet we won, moved up 4 places and are two places and 1 point of a play off place. Not only that but we have only lost 4 league matches all season and have an even goal difference. But where have all the supporters gone, another very disappointing attendance yesterday. I suppose its that time of year, out of both FA competitions after poor performances never helps..

I am surprised it is so quiet on here as well.

We played well at times yesterday and it was good to get three points on the board. Well taken goals by both Saunders and McKimm, with some good passages of play by the team. I missed Harrow's goal so cannot really comment on that. It was disappointing we let the early lead slip so quickly but this was made up by the fact we went on to get the winner.

It took us a while to get going in the second half with Harrow in possession during early periods, but after a while we started playing and I think we could have put one of the earlier chances of the second period away had the ball fallen nicely for us. Harrow did threaten at times but could not put their chances away.

A good performance overall to see us rise upto seventh, especially considering we had some players out injured. Work still to be done of course but I think we slowly are heading in the right direction.

Don't let the vocabulary challenged 'f' & blind brigade drive you off the forum June. Those of us that know you and see you at the games (home and away) miss you when you aren't there. Would be a shame if we come on here and you are not here either. Stand your ground and beliefs, you are entitled to them - AB.

I agree with Peter, it certainly wasn't one of our best performances but the one thing you can't take away from the lads is their spirit and togetherness. In my book two well taken goals, Rob had two good shots which their keeper saved well, Peters and Young both played well as did Saunders. At end of the day 3 points and moved us up into 7th place. Only disappointment was the crowd at 369 I believe.

Well done lads for a battling performance with a depleted side.

We looked much better when Charley Side went up front. Before that it was poor for the most part. Good performances once again from Jay and Ryan. We urgently need that centre back and right back. Hope Louis is back next week so Ryan can play on the wing. I think above all else we need Ryan on the wing, and Charley up front. Otherwise we'll be disjointed like we were for much of the first hour.

But then it does beg the question do you make too many changes to a winning team? I'd say yes in this case, because we only started playing when the original lineup was changed. Happy to get the 3 points.

Speaking to Louis after the game he said that he expects to be fit for next Saturday. Deano will be coaching from the sidelines (no ladies or small chidren to stand near or if they must wear ear muffs)or standing with the fans.

Agree with Porka when Charlie went up front we looked far more threatening.

On a lighter ( Pun intended read on) it was good to see AB on (as he put it) his vegeterian diet
