Well done to the lads today, an immense effort. The first 20 minutes it looked like we might spend the whole game in our final third, but after that there were long spells when we matched swansea and it felt like a regular league game with the levels of possession.

 

The atmosphere was tremendous, especially when we scored. I think thats probably the nuttiest ive seen it behind the goal when it went in. I was always trying to calm myself down, thinking that swansea are bound to pick up a couple of goals second half, and unfortunately i was right,and although it was expected it was still gutting to lose to a goal 10 minutes or so from time. Their first was a nice strike, but the ball really should have been hoofed away for their second.

 

Still, no need to criticise as i thought the defense did amazingly well to keep such talented players to only 2 goals.

 

Overall a great day for the club, and we came much closer than most people realistically thought, so a massive well done to all the players.

 

Good luck to Swans in the next round, onwards and upwards in the league for us now.

what a fantastic performance by all the team. a neutral would have not known we were in different leagues let alone 4 apart.

Lets hope all the people who came yesterday for the first time return in a fortnight for our next home league game, mind you if you are all coming back please can you let us know on this message board so I can reassemble the great team of volunteers who made yesterday's game possible with no hitches. everybody (except the swansea chairman ) in the ground well before kick off.
