I remember he scored and certainly got the song about "putting the ball into the scummers net", so perhaps I got my goalscorers the wrong way round. I think they already had a song for Danny, so presumably Lee got the song as he didn't have one prior.

He did indeed score the winner at Maidenhead, as that was on the Tuesday following his debut at Worthing where we debuted 'Crab People' and gave it a proper airing at Tork road. As for how much Riddell actually got to the ball, I remember it may have grazed his calf if at all
