where are you going today?

Result, the Merstham boys won 0-2, Banstead defended well, keeper was excellent, but they never looked like scoring. When Merstham made the sub, Francis I think, it changed the game. Cool 1st goal from number 8 and one from Lock was enough. Even half the lights going out(nice try), with minutes to go, was not going to stop the leaders making it 16 wins on the trot, is that a record?

Yes I think that is about right. All Merstham first half Greenhouse causing lots of problems for the home side, but Banstead made a real game of it in the second .They had more of the play but never threatened at all.Agree about the first goal, just about the only place the keeper couldn't get it,off of both posts i think.El Gaffer can be very proud of his lads today.

AFC Wimbledon won their first 21 CCL games in 2003-4 season before being held 2-2 at Sandhurst on 10 January 2004, so a bit to go yet.

I've no idea if that is the record though - seem to recall AFC Wallingford going on runs of 20 odd game winning streaks in the past. Withdean 2000 probably did similar in the year they won it (2002-3).

Went to watch Bookham v The Kroons.

Quite eventful !

Briefly met PB. Sorry I couldn't stay and chat with him and Teffers afterwards, but I had another pressing engagement.

Surprised by the low attendance, but really liked Leg of Mutton Field - especially their club house... top quality.

ps: Hi all, I'm new here.

Well - It's Monday, and the original question was where are you going today ?

As I covered 3 games over the weekend, including the Bookham debacle, I fancy a footy-free day, so I think a lunch-time pint may be in order.

Spotted Dog ?? Bulls Head ???

Hmmmm. Decisions decisions !.
