Looked at the table and Wivenhoe appear to be languishing in the basement.

But they have had a horror draw...ETFC is the only Top 10 team they haven't played in their 11 games so far and barring a couple of blowouts against Sudbury and Ware away and a 6-2 loss at home to Redbridge their other scores haven't been all that bad.

A 2-1 loss to Arlsey Town away stands up reasonably well against ETFC's recent 2-2 draw at home.

Should be a pretty good game.. a draw or close win for ETFC.

Since lost 3-nil at home to midfield Waltham Forest.

Look demoralised.

Enfield Town 4-nil at home.

Ryman League Division One North coub Wivenhoe Town have announce the introduction of Richard Carter into the management team.

Carter will take on the role of manager, with Malcolm Price and Nick Allston holding the positions of joint assistant-managers.

Carter (pictured) has had a colourful career in management in recent seasons, holding the posts at Long Melford, Haverhill Rovers and Diss Town.

Wivenhoe chairman Mike Boyle said: “Malc and Nick stepped into the breech at a difficult time for the club and they have performed admirably with limited resources, and they are fully supportive of the new appointment”

Meanwhile, Dane Nelson has joined the club from Ridgeons League Division One side Tiptree United, having started off the season at Ryman Premier Heybridge Swifts.

Nelson joins centre back Keiron Johnson, who returns to the Dragons after a break of several years after spells with Stanway Rovers, Gas Recreation and, most recently, Ridgeons League side Harwich & Parkeston, Kevin Ibrahim from Romford and keeper Nick Wilson from Kent League Premier Division side Slade Green as newcomers to the club.

I would like to believe we could hammer them 7-0 or so if its the Town team that on occasions can beat anyone..however if its the town team that tend to dissapear during a game and with wivenhoe likeley to play a flat back 10 then maybe we will scrape a 1-0 win.

The first Dean Harding was a midfield scuffler from Concord Rangers.
This Dean Harding is a winger who has played in recent years for Potters bar, Arlesey and Chesham. On paper, a good signing.
