The FA Vase is a potential money-earner and lifeline for many clubs due to the sponsorship money it pays and the publicity it brings, particularly to step six clubs such as yours. To say that going out of it early was the best thing that could have happened to your club shows your lack of business acumen, lack of prioritisation and general naivety. No wonder the club have demoted you twice and keep you away from first team away fixtures. How much longer before you are completely out of the way?

So have you peaked now? A 6-0 away win would suggest so. Last season, it seems that your loss of Lee Scott and your home pitch were the key factors. Assuming that your home fixtures will be at home this season, and bearing in mind that you have acquired Jonathan Donohue to complement Lee Scott, I reckon you have a good chance of staying in contention for top spot - it will depend on the depth of your squad, and a bit of good fortune.

Football Man - Yes agreed but money is not the be all and end all to Kentish Town as it no doubt is to other Club's, many a time I and other officials have put our hands in our pockets to pay a fine to the County FA or officials fees if we haven't taken enough on the gate and wouldn't dream of making a fuss about it whereas you for example might have let it be known in the corridors of power at Parkfield that you were forced to fork out X number of pounds.
