We have today, had two ISDN lines installed for the press Saturday, BT turn up, 2 vans, 3 people, and they start work, one up the pole, one holding the ladder (the outside crew) The inside guy starts his work on the balcony and we expect everything to be working soon.

Then we see a bit of a discussion, a lot of pointing, more discussion, a few mobile calls being made, further discussions.

Something is clearly wrong, whats up we ask. and we are told...

...we need a flat roof technician to join my work to his, no one told us there was a flat roof to cable over, thats a specialist job, but don't worry, we have located a guy in who can walk on flat roofs and he on his way from colchester....

Another one...the Beeb have installed a small low level scaffolded tv gantry on the far side of the Ground.

...the scaffolder's came from Bristol to do that.

So how much (approximately) do you think our TV licenses will need to go up next year?

(come on Gazza - it's going to be worth every penny to ensure decent coverage on your big day).

I've got another 14 years to go before I get it free Rick. By then, the beeb will be repeating all of the programmes which we're watching now!.
Mind you, the BBC are all heart really - don't you get the license fee reduced by about £2.50 if you're a registered blind person.
