WEFC Youth 1 Burnham Youth 1

WEFC faced local rivals for the third time this season after suffering two unlucky single goal defeats, including last week's 2-1 cup exit after extra time at the Gore. However, this match didn't match the excitement of the previous two encounters. Although there was plenty of endeavour on both sides, the game lacked a little quality. Windsor were missing Sam Richards and midfielder Rob Lazarczuk, and were second best in the first half. Burnham's goal was conceded when the home defence failed to clear the ball at the edge of their area, allowing the Burnham forward to slot the ball into the net.

The second half brought a better performance from WEFC, and the equaliser came on the hour after some great work from Ben Tindall with Danny Hill executing a cool lob to finish it off. Both sides had chances to win the game, but in fairness, a point was as much as Windsor deserved. In fact, the team had played better last week in the cup defeat. Tom Hall was outstanding at right back for WEFC, and Ben Tindall worked extremely hard upfront.

Team : Balchin; Hall; Hartridge; King; Lines; O'Shaughnessy; Bartlett; Hawkes (Martin); Mahmuti; Tindall; Hill (Littlejohn)

Subs not used : McRoberts; Harris; Jayes.

Come and support the team next Wednesday at home to Aylesbury Vale.
