Interesting article. "I am not one to sit down..." "Im tired of telling the same players the same things" In which case, why doesnt he transfer list them, and bring in some experienced and some talented youth players. That is where we are struggling. We are desperate for a playmaker....Perhaps i should just leave the mangement to Daish!!

Here are two possible reasons why what you ask for will not happen.

1. L D has so far been very cautious about bringing in PASE members other than on the periphery of the squad. In fact he prefers to loan out the more promising players rather than "risk" them in our first team.

2. As for introducing new experienced players, the transfer window is a barrier and we would be reliant on loan or unattached personnel. We are unlikely to pay a fee for anybody. In fact I don't think we have since returning to the Conference.

Perhaps you could get your chequebook out Chris?

We also paid £2,000 to Heybridge for Kevin Budge, before selling him back to the same club for the same sum.

Just as well, since two grand is rather a lot for one Conference goal (v Yeovil).
