Truly is a funny old game. Waltham Abbey were playing Wingate & Finchley at Goldsdown Road last night. A very quiet affair. It seemed very strange indeed, bit like a ghost town. Not a bad game though, i'd say the result was a bit harsh on Wingate as Abbey scored in the dying moments of the game, but hey ho that's footie I suppose.

I think you have got it all wrong there matey,it was not just Brimsdown, it was a joint decision, and yes the money from Pitch Hire does come in handy for the Ground Development Fund.

I would like to think if we were in the same position Waltham Abbey would help us out in the same manner. We supplied Safety Stewards, Turnstile Staff & Tea Bar to boot.
