We're currently in discussions with the league about affiliation numbers, so we're on hold at the moment.

I take it there is no further progress with this yet Gary?

BFR - as I have been told , is that any club wishing to play in the southern youth cup , have to be affiliated to the parent club , a fact the southern league failed to tell quite a few clubs ..therefore we were not eligiable to enter this years competition , I understand the quite a few teams were in the same position...

 

However we are hoping to arrange a few friendly matches for the under 17 side in the new year..

 

fingers crossed we can see some up and growing talent from some Slough youngsters..

Windsor's Youth Team, playing in the Allied Counties league is made up of 16 to 18 year olds. We would be delighted to arrange a friendly with STFC in the new year subject to current fixtures and pitch availability.

Seems quite daft really, and it's a shame - why the need to stop these youth teams competing?
