u18s Away AGAIN!!!

Now 7 away on the trot, last time at home was 30th Sept, and 2 more befor at home on 9th December.

PLAYYA Cup v Folkestone. I`ve lost the plot here as I thought we`d already been knoked out of this one.

One big difference between the two sides was Folkes no. 2 who ran the show. Folkes got off to a flier and a string of corners kept Gates defence busy. It on 15 that Folkes took the lead. Gate fought back and won a couple of corners which provided the equalizer, ball not cleared and Cain (sorry if miss spelt) rose above the defence for a head to the corner. Think we`ve been here before, less that a minute later Folkes regained the lead, for the restart their no 2 took the ball through Gates defence like a knife through butter and a simple squared ball for a tap in. that was really it. Second half was a none event, neither side looked a threat although Folkestone had most of the ball. No refreshments after the game, very poor. getting used to the drive home with nothing to cheer.

Perhaps if those in charge could get together and give these lads training, say once a month instead of once every 2 months it might help. Dont dispare, 2 years ago the u18s finished bottom as first year u18s last year the side was a real force, just hang in lads.

As a foot note to the management I will NOT be running the line ever again for you! so dont ask.
