They play golf at Hemmingford Abbotts!!

 

They then play a stormer on the front nine, then a stinker on the back nine & then blame it on jet lag!!!

 

Good to have the three musketeers back again though, Ive missed the gentlemanly sportsmanship!

What a course.

 

It was the best ever when I was flying round it. Mind you, I did think we were playing two matches rather than combine our scores!

 

The chip on the 4th was the most memorable shot I remember during the first round of 46.

 

I don't want to remember the second round as 'wheels come off' springs to mind.

 

Mind you, at least I didn't put my ball in the car park on the ninth! Although I did put one or two, or was that three or four out of bounds during the awful second round.

Strangely enough, me too, cant stand it, however the craic we have on a Saturday is a diffrent matter.

 

If I ever took it seriously or didnt end up bent over double at one of "The Hats" shots I'd stop going.

 

A highlight Saturday was "Rock Steady" playing a shot out of a bunker only to watch it pitch against the front of the bunker loop back over his head leaving the ball ten feet further back than where he started.......and still in the bunker!

saw Phil Mickelson actually play that same shot deliberately when trapped against the lip of a bunker.
Back to the flag...sandwedge open..played the ball up and over his head on to the green.

Therefore,
Rock Steady=Phil Mickleson?????
