thats why youve gotta love the ccl some excellent yet unexpected results. seems that anyone is capable of beating anyone more so now than ever. excellent results for bookham as well as egham and im please weve had our share of ash for a while. great credit to my boys chessington at the moment we arent as freeflowing as we were but are still managing to picking up points.

Thanks Gord, Yes great win for us but would agree with CC comments, thought the game was scrappy due to the pitch but we worked hard and got the points which could have gone either way upto 60 mins but thought we had more possesion over the last half hour.

We have been battling well over the last few weeks but not getting the win so was very pleased after yesterdays game. smile

Looking forward to PB and the Krooners visting the mecca of Meadowbank next Saturday !!!!!!

Chipstead were meant to be unbeatable last season too. Pressure got to them and they couldnt buy a win towards the end of the season.

Ash are way behind at the moment but we havent given up hope of challenging. I just hope other teams have the same attitude.

I agree Sydney.

Just hoping other teams just don't just roll over in defeat. It would be nice to see someone beat Merstham and then to see what Merstham have to offer. First game of the season i dont think counts!!

from what I have seen merstham take ages to get going, except a fast goal on saturday. if you hit 'em early with two quick ones, you may a have chance, but they have only let in 7 all season so a hard job. They have some very quick players and that includes the full backs! Once they get in front you can kiss it goodbye!

Must say having watched every home game at Krooner this season Merstham not only are the best team to have visited so far including Dartford, they also have the best player to have graced Krooner in Nick Greenhous.
