Sadly, we get worse rather than better.

While the game would have been great value for a neutral, I am fed up with seeing us completely outplayed. Amazingly the team were applauded off the field. I really don't understand why, as we were truly awful.

I thought second half we were much improved. The defending first half was woeful and we were all over the place after a bright ten minute opening. Second half was much more likely we were hit on the break for two of their goals and the scoreline flattered them slightly in the end. I though Grimm had a good debut and looks a promising signing as does Dave Barratt in midefield. If we could tighten up at the back we will be a competitive side.

Think thats a pretty fair assesment. Agree that Enrico Grimm who on today's performance looks a real find but not too sure about Barrett as of yet.

But what really worries me is that Didcot hardly needed to try i nthe second half and yet still manaaged to score 3 goals on the break.

Strange how people see the game from behind the goal and at the sides. I thought Barratt looked good (although lacking match fitness) while Grimm looked quite lazy at times not chasing people back.

Coming into the ground and seeing our starting line-up we looked like we would be competitive, but lots of mistakes were made in my opinion (and sorry if I sound like a grumpy old man!!).

First of all - why 5-3-2. - madness If we have Carbon, Haddow and Saulsbury then fine. But to leave 3 slow central defenders exposed to the pace of Bartley (and we know he's fast as he played for us!!?!) was silly.

If you are going to play that way one of the three needs to be fast. We've played well in the last 2 games in pretty much a 4-4-2 (although Burnham more of a 4-5-1), so why change it??

At the back we were terrible. Steve Daly PLEASE don't shout when Adrian Browne is going for a header. Let him do that. It confuses everyone. At the moment Daly's too busy concentrating on Harper's and Browne's game when he should be concentrating on his own in my opinion.

Midfield was slow to get going, but did better in the second.

Up front I thought we did OK, but Charles continues to frustrate me. For someone who has played at the top level of the Conference for Hayes and Aldershot and league for QPR i'm still waiting to see what he really has. Should be doing a lot better in mmy opinion.

Positives: Barnard (the best keeper we have had since Masters), Barratt looks like he may have an eye for goal and Robinson played well in the second half.

Charles was awful for us and that was 2 or so seasons ago. I doubt he'd of got better since!

Ask any windsor fan at the start of the season and we thought you'd struggle like this. Your first XI isn't good enough let alone your sqaud!

However i do feel you'll do us over and will stay up!

I think he's one of those players who needs good service and support; he has recieved neither so far this season.

Chris Robinson looked the best of the Rebels to me. He seemed motivated and fast, but I wished he'd had the confidence to keep going when running at defenders, especially in the 2nd half. It was almost as if he (like others) thought "right, I've made 30 yards, time I got rid of it".

My first game for a couple of months and certainly much better than the first few weeks of the season. 3-0 down at half time without really testing their keeper, who certainly looked shaky in the second half. 6-3 was worth the entrance fee, but a shame we were on the wrong end of the scoreline

I don't recall us letting in six goals at the start of the season. We only scored a few as they relaxed having won the game.
Entertaining, yes in many ways, but I'd rather we scraped a boring win. I also know which of those results will produce bigger gates.

As far as I'm concerned the team is a complete shambles, the performance was pathetic, things are getting worse by the week. Applaud them as they leave the field? No thank you.

I thought Didcot looked alright compared to some of the teams that have turned us over this season. But the defending at times is woeful, not least at set pieces and crossing situations where the opposition strikers have far too much time and space.

Thought Barratt and Grimm looked useful additions, though both seemed to tire. We really do need to put together a string of good results soon.

One other thing - there was some discussion behind the goal about training, and which players attend. The general consensus was that not many do. That can't be good for preparation, fitness or motivation?

In the first half I was stood behind the toothless chap who, with his son next to him, was screaming "COME ON DIDCOT ATTACK THEM, THEIR DEFENCE IS F***ING SH*T".

Rob Anderson and I felt duty bound to point out that it wasn't just our defence it was our midfield and attack also!
