The easiest thing to do would be if everyone brought at least 1 friend along with them to a game.

 

But obviously trying to get people to come watch a team which isn't exactly setting the world alight at the moment is hard.

I went to see Wigan v Chelsea at the weekend. You could buy tickets on the gate for £20 and a special train was put on resulting in an amazing away support of about 4,000. In fact many people were commenting on how the tickets and travel cost less combined than a normal trip to the Bridge. There was loads of kids there enjoying a first away game. I do think the cost is a huge factor - people are stunned when I tell them it's £8 to get into Slough. Have we tried a 'Dad and Lad' scheme? A kid could come in with his dad (or mum of course) for a pound extra or something like that.
