Friday night kick off?

We do have the highest admission prices in the league, but the fact we are ground-sharing and this is our main source of income you can kind of understand why. Also do you really think we'd get much more support (if any) if we dropped the admission price to £7, £6 or even £5?

Marcus!! We have to stop this! Agreeing with each other?!

Marcus is right, I think. Say a family of four come to with older kids, say 18 years old. It is 32 quid, if it were, say a fiver, it becomes 20 quid. Thats a big difference.

Yes people are paying the money at the moment, but it is people like us on here, that ALWAYS go that are doing it, and the numbers are falling.

Know it is a different Kettle of Fish, I work with A Villa nut, He Goes regular, and although not a season ticket holder, he can get tickets for certain premiership games for 15 quid...........so when he has watched his team win against premiership opposition for 15 quid, I've watched us humiliated for 8 quid..........

Just curious, how much do Brentford charge?

I'm also a (part time) Bees supporter and they charge £20 for League 2 football, which is why I've not been this season yet! I agree £8 is alot for our level, especially when Abingdon United charge £5 and they're above us!

Whilst the admission prices are high, given it is our only source of regular income this season, it was decided to keep the price at £8 rather than drop it to £7.

The season ticket prices remained excellent value, especially for juniors, and this was a big selling point for us.

Until we as a club are generating regular income streams from other sources we will be reliant on our income from gate money. If the side were winning on the pitch, then there wouldn't be an issue, but as we are all too aware, it is very difficult to support a struggling side.

We're still thankful for the support we get at home game despite our position and performances and we are doing everything we can to not only retain the support we have but improve on the numbers.

We are trying to get more juniors through the gate. On the 1st December, we have a set of Slough Juniors coming to the game and we will be looking at advertising in local schools with the offer of free accompanied juniors or something similar. In addition, unsold programmes are now being given out to shops and surgery waiting rooms to entice people along.

The suggestions on here have been around moving a game which logistically isn't the easiest thing to do without good reason. The League have to approve the fixture, officials have to be rearranged, it has to be agreed with Beaconsfield for the use of the pitch, the opposition have to agree the move and of course the pitch and facilities have to be available.

With some Sunday afternoons ruled out, it does make it difficult as I do beleive that would be the most beneficial time for us to rearrange a match to.

How about this?

Why not get all those "Slough Town Supporters" who were at the Walsall and the subsequent Yeading game? They were all "singing slough town till I die". "Come on number 9". . making sure me and the Kids could hardly see an effing thing. We all know mates who say they are SLOUGH Fans but never come, until it is a big game.

Maybe we should all try and get on their cases first?

Think there is a photo as front page to website with Glenn Harris running along after scoring against Walsall. Maybe we can recognise some and get them to come more often? I am going to work on a mate who hardly comes any more?

If we all did that it would add a few to the gates....?

Just an Idea
