Match preview from Didcot Town's website

Didcot renew our acquantance with Slough Town on Saturday with the visit to Holloways Park, Slough's temporary home at Beaconsfield's ground, for our latest Southern League match.

The unusual fixture programme sees us hosting the Rebels in three weeks time, and these games arrive just days after our Berks & Bucks Senior Cup clash, a match we won 5-1.

While most Diddy supporters will fancy our chances of claiming an important away win at Slough, who lie just two places above the relegation zone, a few words of warning. Slough's three wins have all been at 'home', so they have in fact picked up exactly the same number of points in their 6 League matches at home as we have this season!

The good news is that Didcot's long term injury list is easing - only Paul Powell (swollen knee) and Grant Goodall are still undergoing treatment. We do have, however, one or two niggles which hopefully will not keep any other players out of contention. Andy Parrott has returned from his work commitments abroad.
