Good to see the Rams fans were given good hospitality at the game.

Second highest Thanet derby score ever I think - MFC 6 RFC 4 in 1968 FA Cup game. Bluenoses led 5-1 at half time and we got back to 4-5 when you scored on a breakaway in the dying seconds. What a game that was.

I saw the Margate v Swansea game that year as well and was reminiscing with a lad at work who supports the Swans and remembers the game although he didn't go. Funnily enough Billericay are playing both of us in the next few weeks so we've got a wager on who will get the best result against them.

You did not see Swans in 68 sunshine they came in November 1972 as i was at the Rams game in 68 and the swans game in November 1972. But you are right terrific games both of them.
