To ensure that nobody has an excuse not to see a game next Wednesday, Town will be playing at Harlow next Wednesday in the Capital League.

 

Kick off is 19:45.

Scorers were Georgiou, with another of his trademark goals [this time from the right] and Damien Yoxall on debut. Charlie had to be on top form, especially in the second half to secure the win.

Off topic slightly, but is there any danger of Richard Georgiou getting a bit of first team action? He is one of the few players this season with the ability to excite a crowd, and it is a mystery to me why he has only played bit parts so far. His goal at Northwood is still my goal of the season.

Perhaps they were just a bit ropey. Lucky the game wasn't cord off, supporters might not have cottoned on in time.

I believe they were, although they certainly upped their game in the second half.

 

Town side was:

 

Hasler, Nay, Bastian, Stephens, Harvey, Magona, Akinola (Lyons h/t), Hall, Yoxall (Negus 65), Georgiou, Harding (Hughes 60).

 

Hodge and Foster were the unused subs.
