I went to proof read the new board with all the mini shirts on it and it looked fine. I am just waiting to make sure that all the names have been spelt correctly and then it will be all systems go.

 

Just watch this space.

The good news is that the final proofing took place and the 100 names are correct. This was mentioned at half time yesterday.

 

The pitch side details are fine and it's all systems go.

 

I am hoping it will not be too long before the board is ready to be displayed. Only then will we be collecting your donations.

Walked past Fastsigns this afternoon to see 'our' board in the window. Looks absolutely fantastic. It will be transported down to 'our' ground and unveiled at a game in the very near future.

 

I anticipate having the mayor cut the ribbon, cheerleaders shaking their pom poms, a massed band and the local press taking photos. It's that or Brunob taking some photos for the programme.

 

It will have been worth the wait!
