Who remembers East Thurrock as the coldest place

Recommended Posts

The winner is possibly Stonebridge Road itself for Cinderford in 1996. East Thurrock definitely runs it close though.

The only away game I've ever travelled to solely using public buses (no sniggering at the back).

Coldest ever. The Valley. Kent Senior Cup. Arctic wind whipping through the open ended stand. Garry Aldous's reign, I believe. Lee Bowyer playing in gloves for Keith Peacock's Charlton reserves. It was impossible to escape from the cold. Even at half time you could only huddle behind the stand with a beer, where it was just as cold as inside it. One of only 2 games I've left before the end. Decided I'd go for an early train when we conceded our 4th without reply.

And they wouldn't be flying south if even if they could. Penguins are only found in the Southern Hemisphere/Antarctic/South Pole!!!

Which is why Polar Bears never eat Penguins!!!!!
