Burnham score

Yes Burnham were solid and did enough , but Slough gave it a real go and made Burnham fight all the way , not bad for a side down on confidence and down on some real luck going our way !

The first 10 mins Slough could have scored a couple ! and Burnham had to work hard...for their points...

Superb support from Slough Town ..thank godness we turned up ! for Burnham to get their top crowd of the season...and why oh why only 50 programmes printed !

Slough gave two sloppy goals away ..so we need to tighten the defence up ! and we will start picking up points...a good gritty performance from Slough...

well done...

Woodruffe is hoping to return to the squad for Saturday.

John Ellis was due to be on the bench last night, but had a family issue to attend to whilst on the way to the game which meant a divert from attending the match.

George is back in light training but will still be a few weeks away. Wilko is protecting his ankle and Lee Charles has injured his back.

Cheers for the update anyway.

Thinking about it last night if we could field a team of:

Barney

Ellis, Harper, Murphy, Woody

Robinson, Wilko, Moleski, Jeffires

Charles and Salaka

I reckon we might do alright. Not sure we'd ever see that line up though.

I think that Observer report is pretty fair, unlucky to go into the break a goal down, first 10 mins of second half we were pretty damn awful (disappointing after a bright start) Then spent rest of game on top.

Actually not that bad a performance, although Burnham didn't look that great (but like its been said how many times have we said that)

I would say that was the first time I've seen any sort of real passion in the side, when losing. Heads dropped a little, but kept pressing, starting to look like a team playing for each other and committed. Was good to see the players clap the fans at the end, that hasn't happened much this season at away games I've been at, all little things I know, but makes me think the team is making strides in right direction. If we can be solid for 90 minutes things may not look so bad soon (I'm ever the optimist!)

i agree definately 200 plus slough, maybe 70 or so burnham, and a lot of others who came down for the game.
does anyone know for admission purposes whether season ticket holders are counted in the figures even if they dont turn up,just having a discussion with someone who said they were whereas i thought they were only if they showed up, just curious to know.

She still does not have a clue, but it could have been that she recognised Gary from the Berks and Bucks game at wycombe!

Allegedly she has had her teeth done, or it could have been where she has been punched due to one of her many cr*p decisions.

She was described by one observer as - "A f'ing goofy, gaunt looking bit*h who still dosnt know the laws of the game" - does that answer your question Marcus?

Excellent,

apart from:

1) The 2 or 3 times that, when the ball was played forward, she failed to look at the linesman who was waving frantically for offside.

2) Booking two players for IMO accidental handball.

3) Not knowing a bookable foul if it smacked her in the face.

Also, do linesmen really know the rules of the game?

Last night the same linesman twice flagged for the ball to be out of play and, being only a couple of yards from the ball I could see quite clearly that it wasn't.
