While I'm in full lounge mode, the lyrics to Matt Monro's "The Impossible Dream" seem pretty apt.

Any Welsh bands you play have got to come from Swansea surely otherwise it's like saying...Ooh they come from Chelmsford, that's quite near....Cue PA system repairs.....

How about Nick Berry's "Every Loser Wins". The lyrics have been extremely applicable to the Clarets on more than one occasion, and may suit Ricay on the 10th.:-

I can't believe I've been out for a few hours and we've got onto Matt Monro! Now you're talking. "On Days Like These" from the opening scene of "The Italian Job"; pure class.

 

Now, you can't have Matt Monro without a bit of Frankie Lane so that'll be "I Believe"; and maybe a smidgen of Anthony Newley with "Strawberry Fair".

 

Not sure what any of this has got to do with Swansea though.
