Your information is correct and former captain Scott Lacey has also joined Hatfield. The problems stem from us having big expectations during pre-season. The team looked good and we had some good results and performances. Then a mixture of bad results, egos, complacency, attitude, infighting and disagreements has threatened to wreck what promised to be a great season.

Thats a shame, Colney Heath gave us a good beating in the charity cup at the start of the season, and with the team they had i expected them to top 6!

Prutts is assistant manager now, and with the squad they have now promotion is definitely on the radar. It's a shame they have no ground of their own nor any real hope of getting one. They currently play at Harpenden which is twenty minutes drive away. It's questionable whether a place in the South Midlands would be sustainable. Also their questionable disciplinary record which won't be helped by Staples or Beck!!!!!!!!!!

 

I think we all felt we could well be pushing into the top 6 - i know Jonno certainly felt that was achieveable!!
