Folkestone v Margate - UPDATES

Morris is not in the same league as Standen imo. This discipline problem comes from the top and needs sorting out. Unfortunatly Sm is coaching so its like the blind leading the blind. He needs to sort out his own discipline problems first. This will cost us this season again.

Agree with BTW.

More points lost because of a suspension of a key player.

Look how we struggled when DS was not playing, but equally, he should have matured by now.

Plus, if Skinner is injured ,DS is the only cover we have for that position.

Stupidity again

Just got back. Both goals were crackers. Referee didn't let the game flow and I can't see that Harworth was offside everytime. I am pissed off with seeing bad referee's at this standard. The player that fouled SCS should have walked. It was nasty and dam right dangerous. We were the better side tonight but we try to walk the ball into the net rather than shoot.

Shame the ref's name was wrongly spelt sure was not BUCK.

Jay sends the Folkestone player flying, Folkestone player stands up and kicks out at Jay, Standen comes motoring over (wrongly) and another Folkestone player throws a punch.

Result Standen straight red, Folkestone players not even spoken to.

Have we a new Graham Poll in the ranks...that is Ranks of refs

Two very valuable points dropped tonight. We wre the better side & Folkestone were very poor. As EBP says we do tend to try & walk the ball in too often rather than shoot at goal.Standen on two occasions tried the clever ball through when a shot at goal might well have reaped rewards.

How many off-sides tonight? Too many.

Folkestone relied on the long ball out of defence & were playing counter-attacking football all night long.

Peters goal was a "smasher" in more ways than one, & not JUST because he scored the goal, but for his overall contribution once he came on, he was by far our best player out there tonight.Got down the wing & did his job well at the back too.Impressed with him tonight.

We had them rocking on many occasions & this was one game where the victory should have been ours.

Folkestone maybe had the one effort first half & second half were restricted to few chances only, but one of those chances fell to them at the death, just after the dismissal & had it gone in it would have been an unjust victory for them.

How did we line up formation wise both before and after Skinners substitution-with JJ,Moir,,Peters all out there, seems we had alot of 'wide players.

Did JJ play more centrally ?

well played Peters.

The good news-we have now gone a whole 50 minutes without conceding a goal !!

Which linesman are we referring to here. The one with the yellow flag who was fair or the one with the checked flag who had no idea of the offside rule???
As soon as he saw a blue shirt going forward the flag was up whether the player was involved with the play or not. I am sure one time he flagged Ancient Blue standing behind the goal as offside!!!
One he flag offside whilst being 20 yards behind the play. Standing in line with the Folkestone back line we could see it was badly wrong.
