my view :

 

A football trend - Just watch the TV to see what I mean....

 

 

Its not a Slough trate , but a growing trend with players that score a goal and then turn to their own supporters and shout "come on" and jesticulate that the supporters are doing nothing , kiss the badge on their shirts !

 

What do they think the supporters are doing there in the first place ! Supporters support their club far more than players who come and go depending on the money on offer... Living and breathing their clubs honours and paying money to do this...

 

I just hate it...that the players think we are not doing our part....

I noticed one of Slough's players (not the one that scored) do that on Saturday after the second goal. As they were celebrating and heading back towards the far end he was shouting towards the Slough supporters in exactly the way you describe, Chris.

 

The players seem to think they have a divine right for the crowd to get behind them. After much of what we've seen this season they're lucky they have a crowd at all.

Exactly ....for the supporters to be there week in week out, standing in the cold and rain...giving their support to a team not doing well ..shows where the committment is really coming from...

Disagree, its a spur of the moment thing when someone is really psyched up whats the difference between that and Glen Harris running past slapping fans hands like he loved slough with all his heart. Chris chill out.

The difference is that the way it was done on Saturday, and the way Chris is referring to, it is intended to say "that's proved you wrong so shut the ***k up". That's how I interpreted what happened after the second goal on Saturday and that was before Chris posted anything on here about it.

Ian is sooo right thats the attitude exactly ..its not just slough its a lot of players and team members that do that ..saying two fingers to the supporters who have or may have not got onto their backs... (its not the way to behave in my opion...
