LADIES TEAM IN SEVENTH HEAVEN

To complete an excellent weekend for the club, the ladies team beat Barton Rovers 7-0 at New Lodge this afternoon. Lisa Robins scored four of the goals, two from the penalty spot.

For those who are interested, our Ladies will be playing Chelmo in the isthmian ladies cup, on a yet to be arranged, November Friday night at New Lodge.

That was the first time I've watched the team. What a result. My 6 yr old thought it was great too. Nothing he likes more than a shed load of goals for the Blues.

First season in the Eastern League and we are holding our own, I want the Ladies to push for promotion in their first season which is achievable.
