Programme gets good review and 7/10 in this weeks Non League Today.

I was gonna say this anyway but more appropriate now. I've started watching Slough regularly again after a few years absence and I have been very surprised and impressed by the high quality of the programmes.

 

Comparing them to some old ones from Wexham Park days they are light years ahead. It's clear that a lot of thought, time and hard work goes in to getting the content together which is miles better than any I've purchased on our away vists. Well worth the money and I reckon a big well done to all that are involved in putting these together. If we got points for these we'd be top of the table.

yeah some of the programmes in this division are pretty bad,

our programme is very good value for money from what ive seen in this league and even in the conference (sorry Blue square premier)

It has to be exceptional to get even an 8. Once you go down the Nadia Comaneci route, there's no going back! My Torquay review the previous week ruffled a few feathers though...

Yeah, i was hoping for an eight, so glad the reviewer came on here and said it is very difficult to get that.

From what i've seen so far this season, our programme is miles ahead of anyones else's especially in terms of article reading material.

Glen does a great job, especially when we have a string of home games, as it's a lot of work. But there's always space for people to write articles. I suppose the good thing about the constant turmoil at the club is there is lots to write about for me! Still, the hardest part is getting people to do the fans focus piece so PM me for a questionaire please.

Warren check your grammar! And what's 'subbing' anyone??? I too was hoping for an 8 out of 10, but having read his previous reviews, he's a tough judge! Although I'd like to hear from him what would make it an '8'? As Warren said, if you do have the time, it'll be nice to receive some articles from you, it can be anything Slough Town or non league in general related.

I think I have only dished out one 8 (Exeter I think - files in office). Subbing is what sorts out grammar and spelling.

Mind you, next week's offing could well make it two....

Just had a look through some old copies of Non League Today and Exeter's got a 9, Aldershot's an 8. Might be worth getting hold a few copies of Exeter's to see the quality, but I am sure ours is not too far behind.

dont know how aldershot got a 8,its two pounds fifty always full of printing mistakes and spelling errors,ours is much better for one pound fifty IMHO
