It's gotta be on the box!

Hello from Swansea. Congratulations on your win yesterday. I think you'll find we'll want to be both Dai and Goliath for this one, bit selfish I know. Hope for both clubs finances it does get chosen as a televised game.

I've a friend living in a place called Tyelands in Billericay, is that far from the ground?

No, they have a certain disregard for every other club, above them, at the same level as them and below them, which makes them a target for being call arrogant t*ssers. We regard them very highly.

Top of our league for no other reason for being the most consistant team in form at present apart from yesterday (Ramsgate 3 Chemslford 0) yay.

"yesterday (Ramsgate 3 Chemslford 0)"

Do you just do it to ANNOY me Gazza - I mean overstate numbers.

It was "only" 2-0 yesterday, though it probably would have been 3 if they hadn't cut the grass on Friday afternoon.

Anyway, great first round draw for you guys - would be good to get them back to Swansea (if you can't win it at the first attempt, that is). Huge crowds at Vetch Field (do they still play there?) would guarantee a BIG pay day.

I'd be very surprised if the Leeds match isn't shown live as they've very quickly gone from a big club, to a small club, who are now against all odds looking for promotion this season.

As there are usually two (and sometimes three) matches on FA Cup weekends I'm hoping the second will be yours. How many teams are between Swansea and Billericay and is that likely to be the largest gap of all the first round games?

there is a 107 places between the mighty blues and swansea.

i hope we are on the box would be very good for us as a club, i always think that stains and kidderminster have a good shout for tv seein as stains are in the same league as us, or even ware becouse they are in the league below us, but if they go for a giant killing then im sure we will get the nod wink

We left the Vetch Field a few seasons ago and now play here:

Good luck in the game anyway ladies/gents. I'm certainly not counting my chickens at the moment. We've lost to Non-League teams before and for a one off game, it could be either teams day.

It'd be an even bigger "pay day" if it was a draw and a replay. The Vetch's capacity was half of what the Liberty Stadium currently is smile

I have a friend who lives in Basildon (old Uni pal) who tells me its only about 4 miles away from him, so I'll probably make the trek to this one.
