Stacy Long agrees with you. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/g/gravesend_and_northfleet/7066418.stm

"When you're 1-0 up and pushing on in the second half, you think it's all going well," Long told BBC Radio Kent.

"But they hit back with a goal, and then they had momentum and had the crowd behind them."

I was with the drum yesterday and I all I can say to Stacy Long is fair play!

I thought that Liam again showed his tactical weakness in being unable to be proactive in changing things when it cries out for it. By half time it was obvious that our (strange looking?) formation was not working and we were being over-run. Why not change ot at the break? But no wait until the game is over at 1 - 3 then try a sub.

We had a bloke on the bench who has already scored a winner for us this season and when did he appear? - with 3 minutes to go - about the time I left.

Why does Liam not see what is so obvious to everyone else? He always seems to wait until "last resort" decisions are the only ones left. Very disappointing again - could not even be bothered to go for a pint or two after the game, I was that depressed. Roll on the KSC.

We started with the best eleven players that where available and right from the start it was obvious that Exeter where too good for us, even when we took the lead against the run of play it was fairly obvious that if the Exeter centre forward stopped running offside everytime they attacked we where going to lose.

Why on earth do you think that if the best eleven players couldn't cope with Exeter the young boy who wouldn't be on the bench if it wasn't for injuries would save the day?

You have seen Luke Coleman play roughly ten minutes of football this season, Liam gets to watch him for a couple of hours at a time five days a week, Liam is paid to manage a football club you aren't, did you ever stop to think that what is so obvious to you might just be wrong?

The point's been made before. Liam usually has a good strategy up his sleeve, after doing the homework on the opposition, but if we go a goal down and are losing the battle on the pitch, he seems at a loss as to what to do. When was the last game where we actually came back from a goal down to win?

Dear Mr/Ms Truth

I did not say that Luke would have saved the day but that it was worth trying, along with the rest of the bench. Your view seems to be - They are the better team, we can't beat them, so why change anything, lets just give up.

Liam is paid to manage the football club and management is about making decisions. He seems to have trouble making the difficult ones. It is easy to make changes when things are going well (although that can cause problems) but it takes a bit of nounce to try something new/different when Plan A fails. We don't ever seems much to have much of a Plan B. It IS as simple as that.

This has been a hallmark of Liam's style from the start so I don't suppose he will change now but it is frustrating that we rarely try to adapt mid-match even when it cries out for it.

You might have noticed that he also goes quieter than the drummer when things get tough, rather than louder.
