The Reserves under the management of Lee Hill haven’t had the best starts of the season but apart from one game when they lost heavily to Enfield Town, Lee believes that moving over to the Capital League from the Essex and Herts. League was the right action to take to give his players a better chance to play at a higher level and narrow the gap between 1st and 2nd teams so that the youngsters get a better chance to break into first team football.

Capital League is a good standard, but most teams can't afford to pump the necessary money into entering a team in there.

The majority of our side came straight out of the Essex & Herts into the Ryman 1 North last season and finished 6th. It's not as strong as it was a few years back, but it's still better that Sunday morning football.
