Any one remember Aaron Kerr (goal keeper)

Alright guys

Just came on to the forum to see if anyone remembers a goal keeper that was on your books a couple of seasons ago. His name is Aaron Kerr.

 

He has just signed with the team I follow in Belfast, Crusaders Fc. Just looking some reports on him.

In my opinion he wasn't up to scratch for the Conference although a lot of this is down to confidence. If he has the backing of your players, manager and fans, he may well be a good signing, but if the fans get on his back and he's not allowed to forget mistakes, he'll falter. Doesn't exactly cope with pressure very well.

Aaron was a very nice bloke who made some cracking saves for us, yes he made a few errors too but he was pretty young and he only got a decent run in the team at the end of a mid-table season when two thirds of the team already knew they wouldn't be offered contracts the following season.

The last half a dozen matches of that season we where awful and Aaron was left pretty exposed.

Good luck to him, he didn't get the chance to show his potential.

Saw him play a few times for Tonbridge last year. He played well enough and by all accounts had a decent enough season. Not sure why he left.

Not sure I ever recall Aaron making any errors in competitive matches, only in one or two friendlies. Sadly, he got a reputation here that was unjustified.
