of course i can't say it with the clarity and the knowledge which Mr Thomas is clearly privileged to, but i too would laugh at the Beaconsfield suggestions made in that article - by which i mean this bit "there have been informal talks at the highest level between the club and hosts Beaconsfield SYCOB about joining forces".

re-read Breen's quote again. Nowhere does it even mention a merger as a serious option. Sweet Jesus you lot have the market cornered on reading between the lines and jumping to conclusions

You fail. Re-re-re and re-read the article again. Nowhere does anyone say anywhere that a merger is even a remote possibility. Bob Breen has shot it down, Slough Town have shot it down. You fail, fail, fail

No doubt the article was as accurate as the results they posted for Slough. They reported our last 2 matches as a 0-5 home defeat and a 4-1 away defeat.
