just wondered what team people think are going to win the

british gas business southern league division one south and west

my money is still on fleet as on my prediction league entry

interesting to see that lots of people had bracknell and newport at the bottom which looks like happenning at the moement although bracknell may stage a revival as they have experience of being in this position if they do it could be a problem for us but hopefully by then we will be in mid-table mediocrity

According to the prediction league the average of people were expecting to see Slough finish 10th.

 

But "results on the pitch this season dont matter"

 

But they do matter as if we drop the funding for the new ground gets cut big time - so much so that the new ground will not happen!

Getting back to the original question.

 

From the teams I've seen play, I would have to say Farborough. Although Fleet will give them a good run for their money.

Farnborough will win the 1st Division, IMHO.

 

I have seen them twice, against Newport IOW and against Premier opposition (Swindon Supermarine) and they have impressed me both times...

 

Mind you, I am pretty ignorant, as I havent seen anyone else !!!

 

They do have fire power, and a decent defence, but mainly, their midfield, including Nic Ciardini, Leigh Rumbold, Paul Harkness and Nick Riddell is supreme, and will be difficult to beat this year.
