garymo - I have never been to your ground. Would Stambridge be able to get step 6 status if / when it is required? Eg Lights fixed barrier, walkway around pitch, dugouts etc...

 

There are a few sides in the Olympian League that could do it along with other sides that play at step 7 given a bit of a push and a bit of FA funding (Epping, Barnston, Buckhurst Hill (Herts Senior), Coggeshall Town (Essex & Suffolk border)

no lights at stambridge as far as i knew, plus when you kick the ball off one side it goes into a kiddies playground!!!

Would Stambridge be able to have lights? If the ESL had a div 2 I dont think they would need it immediately - 2 or 3 years time they would though (so the division became a step 6 league).

Stambridge have already got lights boys, its just there players that are a bit dim...!!!

ref1 - yes we do meet all of the requirements for level 6 eg: flood lights, dugouts fixed barrier and a clubhouse. you may not know but we were in the Essex Senior League in the early 90's, and hopefully we will be back to where we should be in the ESL.
