You can now earn funds for the BTSA while shopping online at your favourite retailers with the new BTSA eShop.

 

Simply visit www.btfc.net and click on the Shop Online ad on the right side of the screen.

 

All sorts of retailers are available from the usual online stores to utility suppliers, travel agents and banks. All it takes is a few extra clicks to start earning for the BTSA.

 

No personal details are needed and all payments are made to the retailers as normal - you always pay their prices. More details are available on the site.

Gareth, if a shopper already has an online acc with one, or more, of the retailers, will they have to re register via the link.

 

If you don't know the answer for sure, can you check, most, not all, but most affiliate links require a new registration in order to track the transactions.

Existing accounts will be fine and the transactions will be tracked for those with existing accounts, except where the offer specifically states that it is only valid for new customers - where of course you would need to create a new account.

I had that problem with firefox, fini. The firefox ad-blocker plugin prevented it from displaying. I'll put a text link up later.

I just ordered something with my existing Amazon account, but by going to Amazon via the link.

 

At no stage did I see any confirmation that I was helping BTFC. Is this right?

This is okay. You won't have confirmation BUT we will have signt of the Amazon report soon so we'll see...If there are any problems we shall sort them out

Gazza is right. Once you leave our site and click through to any of the stores you won't see any reference to us. It's all done in the background (sadly in my line of work I know how, but I won't bore you with it!!). For most of the retailers I should be able to tell straight away whether something has gone through (and there are many which have), but Amazon is unique in that it is not an automated process so we have to wait for a manual process to be run twice monthly. I can however see 1 click through to Amazon today - so it's correct so far. And thank you.

May I ask what percentage commission you get from Amazon?

You can ask, but I can't tell you because unfortunately I don't know. Amazon don't quote a commission rate because it varies so much by item and the fact that they process manually. I would expect something in the region of 2%.
