What the most abuse you have taken from the other teams fans ? ?

 

I was playing for Bowers a few years ago over the xmas period against Enfield Town (I think), when our keeper got sent off. I stepped up to the plate and volunteered to go in goal only to be met with about 200 people singing 'ARE YOU KEEGAN'S LOVE CHILD' It's not my fault i have curly hair! !

I have had the usual, fat, bald jibes.....but I tend to give back as good as I get!

 

One of the Funniest I have heard was when ex-Southend Manor player Scotty Phillips was abused with a chorus of "Number 8`s got a Monkeys Head". Think that was away to Waltham Abbey. Priceless

 

My personal chanting lowpoint aimed at me was after being sent off away to Hornchurch. The timeless "Cheerio, Cheerio, Cheerio" Came out in force! Wa**kers!

My abuse would have been against the smelly old Urchins as well.

 

Pre-season two years ago when they found out I bored all of them off for a drink the night before, and went to our local flower show.

 

I got ripped to the ground the next day at the game with usual "flower boy" etc... But then I don't do myself any favours with some shocking barnets.

 

I still remember going to pick the ball up for a throw-in, and the ball landed with treeboy. who decided to launch the ball right down the other end of the touchline, meaning I had to run and go fetch it!!! C*NTT!!! grin

About 10/11 years ago I played for Clapton against Horsham. The crowd was several hundred because Brighton were away so some of their fans had come down apparently. They had to win to gain promotion. I was playing centre mid and at half time we were 2-0 down. The left back who was younger than me had taken loads of abuse from the crowd and it had affected his game so they subbed him and played me left back. I can't remember any specific comments but I got canned by the crowd! To make matters worse I waited for the ball to get near the section of fans along the sidelines then whacked the ball straight into them. They weren't happy and the threats started and I was a marked man!

 

It continued until a quality young player called Nicky Haysman, (wonder what he's up to because he was a fantastic player, Eton Rifle might know) scored with 10 minutes to go. The crowd went silent. Nicky had come on at half time and at 17 years old murdered the Horsham defence to such an extent he was applauded off the pitch by the Horsham fans.

 

I still think that is the most people I have played in front of.

I Always go for the keeper, give him as much [****!!****] as I can

 

The best keeper who I no longer give any grief to is Hendons, he give a nice lot of banter back and isnt rude. So overall the gate fans have alot of respect for him

 

Hamptons Keepers gave loads of [****!!****] back to the Rams fans, stood his ground even after the whistle

Wealdstone away was always a nice game for us at Wakering . Their fans were nuts , every time you went near them they would start shouting they were gonna kill you and you were a [****!!****] [****!!****] etc etc . We NEVER got a good result there , one game we were 2-1 up with 10 minutes left , they brought on Jermaine Beckford now of leeds , he scores a hat trick in the last ten minutes !

i think the umpa lumpa shouts for me walking into the hornchurch bar after a 4-0 bashing.

 

or one time i went to watch tilbury v hornchurch and was getting chants of hes burnhamnumber 1 he takes it up the bum!

ha ha ha i used to be abit quicker back in the day jenks , i was behind the front two . Hard to believe but it was me and sixy box to box from midfield !
