Not that winning tonight would have suddenly made everything better but it would have helped confidence and preparation going into Saturday's massive game. Anything other than a win against Newport and things will definitely have to change before it's too late.

I wouldn't be sorry to see us lose tonight. Then we can concentrate on one thing...survival.

 

Wouldn't be surprised if Wilko played all 4 of the youngsters tonight with Saturday in mind.

 

I think a reality check is needed and not be surprised if we get beaten by most of the teams in our division...we are just not good enough.

 

As long as we beat the two teams below us and scrape together some more points along the way, we should avoid the drop.

Half a decent side??? Apart from 1 or 2 games we've not seen anywhere near a half decent side on the pitch this season! I think what you mean is that it's a near full strength side out (i.e. not a reserve/youth side, not that we have one really) I wonder if Didcot have put out a 'weakened' side, I really hope not as that would be even more embarassing.
