AFC Hornchurch, making three changes to their side that drew the Darts 0-0 on Saturday, had the game’s first chance after just 28 seconds but striker Kris Lee was never going to beat Tony Kessell.

 

And just like at Bridge Avenue on Saturday, both sets of fans create plenty of atmosphere, at a chilly Princes Park. The Essex side, however, should have opened the scoring from the first corner of the game, after eight minutes, taken by Joe Keith.

 

But striker Harry Elmes met the corner with a bullet header from six-yards, which flew across Kessell but over the top of the far-post.

 

 

Dartford, keeping the same starting eleven at Saturday, are finding it difficult to find keep possession against their Ryman Premier League visitors’.

 

But Ryan Hayes had the Darts first chance after 18 minutes, after receiving a pass from Eddie McClements.

 

The wing-wizard showed his trademark tricks, before cutting inside left-back Danny Glozier, but his left-footed cross-come-shot curled past the far post.

 

Hornchurch striker Kris Lee went close at the other end when his left-footed shot from 22-yards curled past the left-post.
