The Colts beat Billericay 3-1 on penalties after a 2-2 draw aet at the Bridge.

A first half strike by Alex Ievoli after a great move started at the back was equalised against the run of play by the Ricay, our lads had a hatful of chances and Perry Burns notched the second in extra time after another great move but the Ricay came back and scored with a header soon after throwing this League Cup Tie into penalties.

Both the opening kicks were saved but we never missed another and with Ricay scoring with only their second, Elliott Joustham saving their third and fourth.

A fair result in a hard but well contested game in which my MOM Spencer Harrison showed his experience gained in recent Capital League games. Mention also for Michael Ramkin, the Captain, whose workrate and leadership was superb.
