Maybe now we are out of FA cup, we could not afford them ;and to be fair, the 11 out today look a reasonably strong side,especially if RT is as 'promised' going to get in two more players ( hopefully i am not seeing those flying pigs again)

Game of few chances today. They had two clear-cut (one Scott saved with his feet and the other was blasted over). Our best chance was a header from Howarth that he put over the bar. I thought we looked solid but wasted some good possession. Often Jimmy or Charley would be away down the flanks but the move would come to nothing. Aylesbury are no fools and held Bromley to a draw at their place, so it's a reasonable result without being enthused by the performance.

Yes-forgot about their good result at Bromley, so decent performance today, but need to make it worthwhile by getting the vwin on Tuesday .

Not a bad result bearing in mind that the ref we had today was the same twat at the Hampton game last year and the Staines game this season. He actually got a few decision right apart from the penalty in the first half when Pinns was thrown to the floor in the box and he gave a free kick against us.

KCA and Peters were both at the game today but are cup tied, I don't think we registered them in time.

Had a bit of a laugh looking at the Aylesbury forum over the game.

 

The Aylesbury lot agree game of few chances by someone from Staines was on there after going to the game and complained that the ref had not pulled up one of our players for the foul language directed at the ref.

 

This is the same Staines team whose players verbally abused the same ref as yesterday when we played them up there and got away with it.

I know we are no angels but for a Staines supporter to say it smack of hypocrisy
