groundshare

The Ryman want signed agreements on ground shares, you need an A grade to go up, and should have for one for Wexham Park or it may appear you are moving ground to gain promotion.

The second place is in your hands we will struggle to challange through injuries and the others are faltering only Aveley can put a run together. Do not fail on ground issues it is soul destroying and put us back 2 years.

One point on league rules, how come Hornchurch can bring Saturday fixtures forward but, four others that requested the same can't. Next the league will allow any team with the name Hornchurch to be promoted, on reciept of 20k of course.

This club will NOT die. There must be something we can do as fans. There were 400 (well almost) of us at the game yesterday, there has to be something, however little we can do collectively to secure a home, if nothing else is going to work. What could we do to help?

Just for info, Beaconsfield have now got their ground up to B grade standard in anticipation of promotion to the Isthmian[although they are waiting for the Ryman inspection] so they will be no good to you if you get promoted. The other draw back there of course is that they want absolutely nothing to do with Deaner whatsoever and given his history that may prove to be your biggest obstacle to sharing anywhere.! Hope it all works out and wish you all well.

Yes we all have our views on this subject, but what alternatives do we have ?? our hand is moved by others !

Take note from the Enfield Town and Wealstone supporters.....

I am losing sleep over this every night, as the supporters

association , we can not deal with the Thornes....or I told they are annoyed that we even mentioned the word Supporters Trust, send red signals to them !! don't know why but it maybe that they can't use us any more !! who knows...why!

The current site , is up for freehold purchase by Mayfair this year , at green belt prices , quoted about 300,000 pounds.

They have the right to do this after the negotiations of 5 years ago ! or they might sell out to the highest bidder !

but I am told a fig of about 3million might just do this !!

The only way forward as I see it , Martin Deaner gets the land next door , raises money on the land and is able to raise capital to purchase the present site from Mayfair or Slough Council try to purchase the leasehold back from Mayfair.

All to much money for the STSA to talk about.........

Or we resign from the Ryman league after the club has been handed back to the council if all fails....and we start again from the begining.... park pitch......corners flags and a league that would have us !!

........ or any other ideas.........?????

Up the Rebels.......

or we ground share and get a new site for the football club , a site big enough to ensure other activities can take place to ensure a secure future for our towns football club ?

time will see.......

cheers chris

How can we secure a future with Martyn Deaner in charge? How has he proven himself since being here? Yes he's put lots of money in, but the majority of this has been late or not at all.

Whilst I agree we need to remove ourselves from being the pawn in the land dealings and that we've done the right move there, I can't see a future for us should we groundshare, or for that matter whilst Martyn remains in charge.

We should take this opportunity to push for major change whilst the council are giving us their 100% backing.

Personally I think it would be disatrous if we were to be kicked out of the Ryman League having already been relegated all the way to Division 1 and potentially having achieved promotion into the Prem. Is this club ever going to get a break? Someone needs to look at the club, see its potential and realise it cannot die. I can't believe the sequence of events we see, close season after close season.
