CB Hounslow v Ash

Ash beat CB in the cup today 4-1.

15 or so minutes into the 2nd half Ash make it 2-1 surrounded by a little contreversy which then ruined the whole game.

 

20 seconds before the goal a CB player gets injured in a tackle which was not a head injury so naturally on the attack Ash continue and score.

Players and staff of CB complain calling us unsportsmanlike - the complaints continue and during this the ref sends off a CB player. All through the rest of the game the CB bench make gestures to our bench with threats and encrouchment to our area. The ref sends off 1 of our players for a 2nd bookable offence with 5 mins to go. Our player gets to our bench and is approached by 1 of their staff and is threatened with handbags etc etc. Guns and stuff are mentioned which is disgaceful. I'm sure you can imagine.

Ref threatens to abandon the game on several occasions.

 

After the game the same person is waiting outside with all his mates threatening and behaving in a terrible manor.

 

To summarise: the players of CB Hounslow behaved in a very proffesional manner and can be proud of their effort. I thought they were a very good team.

The management let the team, supporters and football in general down. They should be embarrassed.

I know the Hounslow area is a bit rundown johnno, but that's a bit harsh

Mind you, not much different to what you'd expect in Ash really!

93rd minute equaliser for the Lions!

Walker (quite rightly) & R Hughes sent off late on, the latter on the say so of a poor linesman. POOR DECISION!

Excellent referee though (Dele Sotimirin)

Dalton-Brown scored late Wembley goal and he played very well.

Can only see mid-table for Lions this season I'm afraid!

Woods will go one way or the other now. Without a win in 6 matches!

Dele's a good bloke. May noy always get the decisons right, but from our experience, he banters with the players, and has a permanent smile on his face .... and he can't stop talking after the game! Our boardroom always seems to have extended opening hours when he's our ref!

 

If its any consolation CC, we hit Tunbridge Wells for 6 yesterday. I think we can safely that you come across us during what appears to be a bit of a purple patch (and a costly one for those of us who are sponsoring each goal!) ... long may it last!
