Ilford Game

So then, Ilford come to Town Saturday. Does not look like they are (presently) having the best of seasons, but to be fair they have done well in getting to Ryman 1 North, so on the day it is a one off.

This is the sort of game that can always provide an upset so hopefully we will be up for it and (maybe) see goals. It would be good to keep the recent momentum going as confidence will keep growing.

I wonder if there will be any "conundrums" arising from this game.

I'd certainly take the opportunity to start Boot and Semanshia in this game if they are fit. Think it's a grand for the winners so well worth winning.

Come on you blues!!

Presumably the most efficient use of the squad is to make sure we don't have a replay Tuesday night. That'll give a reasonable break before the following Saturdays FA Cup tie. So I'd certainly start the game with a strong team.

I just hope the bug that has been haunting us for the past few weeks has finally moved on.

Tuesdays game saw Jo sidelined, Abbo suffering, and Maxie recovering.

Wayne has been suffering from osgoodslatis which is teenage growing problem, but week by week it has been improving.

Not sure about Burbo this week, I thought I saw him rubbing somthing when he came limping off on Tuesday.

P.S. All the best to Wayne - And well done to Jack on now being able to move onto a full 18 course golf course rather than Billericay parks pitch n putt grin
