Don't know how that happened, and haven't heard yet from any of our lot that were there.

 

Sorry CC, we're not the most consistent of sides this year - most games we just can't score, and then the odd game here and there, (Slade Green and now Colliers Wood), we go beserk!

 

Still that saves you from what Krooner and PB had to go through a couple of seasons back! (I'll leave them to enlighten you if necessary!)

The 2 early goals gave you a flyer and we were struggling to stay in touch at times.

I think if the penalty (very unlike Hinga to miss) had gone in we may have forced extra time but the miss deflated a few players and you ran away with it.

Have to say (and I don't like to normally) the referee was very weak and 2 or 3 tackles from Trams players were pretty poor. That is the first time for ages I have seen an adult footballer literally crying in agony (unlike those Russian and English pussies last night) re the tackle from Trams number 8 which should have been a straight red.

Pissed off at a Ryman team manager making an illegal approach to one of our players last night as well!!!!

Wasn't at the game CC, so can't comment on the tackles. Even our fairly placid Match Sec said the ref was pretty bad, and that was even though we got the benefit of the dodgy decisions - he did say that CW would probably be livid at the ref!

 

Gather the missed penalty was even more frustrating because you'd actually scored from the original incident, but the referee decided to make good use of the disadvantage rule and award the penalty!

 

Glad you said Ryman manager, and not our manager! When I was our Secretary, I remember us complaining about him making illegal approaches. Of course all that changed, when he then became our own manager (and chairman)

The ref blew for a penalty just as the ball entered the net.

Yes, we aren't happy at the referee or his 3 (!) assistants but we are at step 5 and we accept that the standard of officials is in keeping with the standard of football.

I look forward to reading the Surrey FA official's report and I shouldn't comment any further on here.

This mullarkey re tapping up of players goes on all the time but to have it done under your nose outside the bar is disgraceful IMHO.

Croydon recently put in a 7 dayer for a Woods player which is fine and I just wish this was the only way to talk to players.

We all know this is not the case!
