Blewitt is claiming it but I am told it was saved by an illigal hand and didn't cross the line...

The announcer gave it to Dorms but Darren clearly disagreed...

 

I have just checked the BBC site and they have given it to Dormer (altho I can't remember Linaker being anywhere near the ground)...

 

So it looks as if the announcer was correct (with thanks to the eagle eyes of JL).

The illigal hand went over the line also. But it was always going to be a Jamie Dormer Goal

I spoke to the Ref when he was waiting for Heybridge to come out for the 2nd half and he said that the ball was over the line before the defender commited the hand ball.

 

Although I would tend to disagree with that, this means that it should be Blewitts goal doesnt it?

I thought the referee told some supporters by the entrance at half time that he didn't send off the heybridge player as the ball was behind the line when it was handballed. Therefore IMO the player who headed the ball should get the goal.

I was pretty much in line with the loal line and it didnt seem to cross the line when it the heybridge man for me. However, in my goalscorers list (sad statto) ill put it down as blewitt.

I think given what the ref said (whether you think it's true or not), it has to go down as Blewitt's goal.
