Tonights's game at Hartsdown finished 0-0 but it was an excellent game and City had the majority of chances but didn't quite get the rub of the green.

Margates' keeper made 3-4 excellent chances in the second half.

A mixture of first-teamers in the XI tonight.

Apparently someone who Dean Standen knows. The 2, i believe French guys and, a Italian kid. I popped in for a few minutes between jobs, Standens pal had gone of injured, the 2 french guys (i have seen before warming up with the reserves) looked good, skillful . One is a striker and one a midfielder. The Striker could have had a hat full,. Pace "Pheeeew". They both looked as though they need to adjust to the 90 mile an hour version of the game we play over here. The striker was unlucky not to have a penalty, he had beaten 3 on the edge of the box only to be tripped inside it by a trailing foot. The midfielder also had no trouble with beating 2 or 3 at a time. Both very exciting to watch. I did not see the Italian guy.

I agree what i saw of Matt he played very well.

Not many there, some of the regulars, Ancient Blue, Mark etc, Ken T and the Chairman.

Sounds like a proper professional game if nil conceded; unlike the park football that high scoring games` provide.
