Wow - that could be an 8-8 draw then!

 

Thinking about it, the most goals I've ever seen in a match are 10 (Spurs 8-2 defeat at Derby 76-77). The biggest wins I've seen are 9-0 twice (Spurs v Keflavik and Bristol Rovers).

 

Some of you guts must have seen some even bigger totals in non-league over the years?

I once won 32-0 when i was 9 years old in a Cub Scout league match.

I scored 6 including 3 diving headers.Both our forwards got 9 goals apiece.

 

In fact we scored 20+ goals in a game,6 times that season.

League game is 17...Tranmere 13 d Oldham 4 Div3N in 1935.

 

Biggest to nil was Newcastle 13-0 over Newport C Div 2 1946 and

Stockport 13-0 over Halifax Div3N in 1934.

I recall a John Connell goal against Anorthosis when he went on hands and knees to head the ball over the goal line.

The biggest victory i've personally been present at was England beating Luxemborg 9-0 at Wembley in 1982.Phil Neal scored that night if i remember correctly.
