Well, let's not get too carried away or decide that last night's squad is all we need to progress to the UEFA Cup. Without taking anything away from a great result, it seems to have been against 10 men from an already decimated squad of reserves etc. But it was on the back of a home win (not always our strong point) and goals had to put away, so let's hope the improvement will continue and we can turn in consistently good performances.

I would certainly agree though that the team should never be changed just to give players a game, like a pub team. Maybe we'd have found our best line-up/formation/tactics sooner with a proper pre-season programme.

Quite, two good solid performances provided the base for better things.

You can only beat the team that you are playing. Having reserves out should not be taken into account as they all belong to the same club.

Nothing like scoring a bag of goals in an any game to get that scoring feeling going.

Great confidence booster for strikers in particular.

Expect to see goalfest over the next few games.

With our squad,we could have fielded a second choice 11 almost as strong as our first 11.It seems other teams squads are not as strong in depth.

Apart from JJ,i'd rate Chopper ahead of every other keeper that has worn the Town shirt,including Hasler (who is himself a good keeper).
